ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
The Sporting Gent is a locally-owned and operated men's clothing brand and lifestyle retailer based in Myers Park, Charlotte. We are actively looking to for an experienced part-time Assistant Store Manager to join our small team. What does it mean to work at The Sporting Gent? I'm glad you asked. You have experience. Experience working in a retail setting, developing strong customer relationships and knowledgeable with back-end retail functions.
You value ownership. Ability to work autonomously, problem solve and take initiative.
You are passionate. Desire to help grow a local small business, curate a brand and create a unique retail experience
You know marketing. Assist with managing retail marketing and branding efforts to include: local market strategies, events and in-store promotions.
You are personable. Customer service oriented with a desire to provide an unforgettable retail and brand experience for customers.
You are operationally minded. Ability to manage vendors, suppliers and e-commerce orders to include invoicing, PO management and reconciling.
You have an entreprenurial spirit. Participate in the planning and evaluation of overall brand marketing and e-commerce efforts.
Other job duties and expectations include: retail sales and customer service lead; product merchandising; creation and implementation of inventory management controls; ability to work Saturday's.
